Indira Gandhi
Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IGIPS) was established
in the year 1987 in memory of our Ex- Prime Minister Late
Mrs.Indira Gandhi who geared up the country in all respects
in Education and Technology, in contrast to the
International Standards. The institute first commenced with
the Pharmacy course in the year 1988 with the approval of
Pharmacy council of India, New Delhi and is also affiliated
to both Orissa State Board of Pharmacy and Biju Patnaik
University of Technology. |

Well equipped
with fourteen laboratories with Internet facility, lecture
halls, multimedia halls and tutorial halls, library and
computer center helps each student to educate in with a
difference, organizing Workshops/ Seminars/ Symposiums. It
also provides its students with a life insurance scheme at
the cost of the institution against any life hazards caused
due to accident. With classes spread over it provides
separate hostel facilities to both boys and girls. |
