I am very much delighted to write this message! We all know that preparing the new generation for knowledge-society is crucial for any educational institution. We must give our students the skills with which they find a way through the sea of knowledge that we have created and continue with life long learning. To fulfill this mission, we are determined and committed in creating the capacities required among the students — the capacity for creativity and innovation, the capacity to use high technology, the capacity for entrepreneurial leadership and the capacity for moral education. We all know that mere knowledge along with skills is not enough to succeed in life, it is the humility in one’s achievements, that makes one a great person. IGIPS cultivates in its students those values that will make them stand out in the crowd and impart the wisdom of being and becoming not only a successful person but also a great human being.

IGIPS, having a glorious past of nearly 40 years from its inception in 1987, has been the foremost pharmacy institution in Odisha. This institution of higher learning has immensely contributed to the nation building by producing high quality pharma professionals. Our students have infiltrated into all sectors be it government, private or public to serve the country in various capacities. Our competent faculty and state-of-the-art infrastructure together with seminars, teainings, worksops, etc. help them in developing their skills to meet the challenges at global level and become an asset to the recruiting organisations. We extend a warm invitation to the organisations/companies looking for budding pharmacists to visit our serene campus for a possible human resource par excellence. We are also looking for mutual association and collaboration with the industry at various other levels, for example, guest lectureships, workshops, laboratory mentorships, joint R & D projects etc. and would highly appreciate industry participation in this endeavour.
